How to Write Love Poems that Haunt(February-March-April 2026)

  • Do you ever experience the same heartbreak over & over? The same wound clawed open, just by different people? We will write love poems. Love poems that are subversive. Love poems that don't just kiss, but also bite and teethe and claw. Poems that can't be packed into squares of neat, sentimental boxes. This workshop is a part of my writing community, Wildflowers are Prayers. You can join us in monthly, or quarterly plans.

  • You don't need to be a published poet to write poems that go right to a reader's heart. You just have to excavate the wilderness of your own life. Do you want your grief to be alchemised into a gift? We’ll write poems that sneak up the skin of a reader. Great poetry doesn't just articulate a wound. It IS the wound. A cry. A prayer screamed in hunger. If you're haunted by loneliness, by someone's absence, or the what ifs' of your life—if you long to harness that haunting into writing: join us now.

This workshop is for you if: • You're haunted by loneliness, loss, or the "what ifs" of life. • You want to harness your pain and transform it into something beautiful and meaningful. • You're ready to write poems that are honest, vulnerable, and unforgettable.
