Do you feel a bit nervous revealing your vulnerabilities— even to those you love? What would you NEED from them in order to feel safe? What responsibility do we have towards the softer parts someone trusts us with? How can we be a kind custodian of their hopes & fears?Join us if you're grieving the loss of a Beloved. Or, Grieving parts of yourself you no longer carry. Grieving parts of your child self. Grieving lost dreams or relationships. Grieving the loss of pets. This workshop is a part of my writing community. You can choose monthly or quarterly options.

In this writing workshop, we'll focus on love as a verb. Small, ONGOING acts of kindness. Making someone a cup of tea, holding their hand. Through poetry: we'll make our own rituals to care for our beloved (s). This doesn't just have to be a romantic partner. It could be a friend, a parent, a sibling. This space is for you if you are: Tired. Angry. Grieving. Longing to feel again. Looking to free parts of yourself that are frozen.

In this space, you will: 1. Create your manifesto of small intimacies- both as poems (and embodied practices). 2. Uncover what you need from a loved one to feel seen. 3. Show up as your real self in a relationship, without feeling unsafe. Stand up for yourself, your needs. Take up space. ALLOW yourself to be loved. 4. Find a beautiful community of writers who will inspire and cheer you all the way! 5. Read beautiful writing by bell hooks, Andrea Gibson, Mary Oliver & more. Write at least 6-7 poems/stories you'll be proud of.
