What if pain wasn't darkness— but a bird singing in your chest? In this workshop, we'll learn how to tend to our grief like it was a wounded bird. We'll reimagine the possibilities of our pain. Pain as birdsong. Pain as gemstone. Pain as pearl. Pain as moonlight. Pain as honeycomb. We will hold it like a mirror shard in our hands. This workshop is a part of my writing community. You can choose monthly or quarterly options.
August 17, 24, 31. September 7, 14. Timing: 10 am EST to 12 pm EST, which is 2 pm to 4 pm UK time, and 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm pm IST.

What would it be to retrieve the pure joy you knew as a child? What it you could braid a choir of your past, present & future selves? Get them all to sing together? In this writing workshop, we will become the voice the child in us craved to hear. You deserve to give the child in you a second chance at joy. The childhood she would ve loved. We will untie the knots of internalised shame, self-doubt through the miracle of journalling + writing.

You can even bring in a childhood photograph to write a letter poem: a dear me (or dear self) poem. You'll write poems/letters to your childhood self, your future self, parts of yourself you've left in other people- or places you no longer are. Your future (dream) selves you haven't even met. Your pain is not your fate. It is NOT who you are. I will synthesise my work as a somatic coach & creative writing tutor to make this the safest possible place for growth.
